Maybe that's not the most important thing, but it is quite nice.
The annual Hart House Bike Month Breakfast is a great chance for cyclists across the city to come together and enjoy a free breakfast courtesy of Sammy's Student Exchange, entertainment courtesy of CIUT and more!

Feel the energy as you raise funds for crucial heart and stroke research, while seizing the only chance to ride traffic-free along the DVP and Gardiner Expressway.
Toronto Islands Bike Ride and Picnic (Launch of Bike Host Program)
Join us for a bike ride and picnic to launch the "bike host" program! Bike Host seeks to match community cyclist volunteers with newcomers to Toronto for friendship and support. It is one of the projects of the Partnership for Integration & Sustainable Transportation, an initiative between the Toronto Cyclists Union and CultureLink Settlement Services.
Bring your own bike. Please also bring food and beverages for yourself, and to share if you like.

THE BEATBIKE will be a marvel of sustainable dance experiences. We are hundreds on funkified bikes following a mad max mobile club with DJ's, drummers, dancers and visuals stopping a few times at select "never been danced in-on" locations to groove next to your peeps in the summer sunshine.

The 4 hour tour will be followed by a co-produced afterparty by your favourite team Fabricated + Spek-E-Ze by the Lake at the Keating Channel Pub.
The route will take us on a "Tour De Portlands" so Don Roadway to Leslie St. on unique settings with killer views of interesting city subject matter. We will meet at 11:30AM for the first stop and be leaving 30-45 minutes later. There will be 10-15 mins of easy bike riding in between and 30-45 minute stops at the 3-4 dance locations leading us back to the Keating Channel Pub. Help us spread the word and post on your profile for great peeps to attend! We will collect a suggested small amount of $ to provide the mobile club man, DJ, dance and music artists. Come out and lets make it a full day of wonderful eastside lakeside music experience.
Walk and Roll Peel is presenting a cycling-themed fashion show to showcase how cycling fashion can fit any occasion, including your wedding day. The fashion show will include business attire and evening wear to demonstrate that spandex and athletic wear isn’t always necessary.

Bike Sauce – located at 717 Queen Street East (corner of Broadview) – is having its Grand Opening on Saturday, April 17th from 12-5pm.
Bike Sauce is a Toronto-based volunteer-run organization focused on demystifying the bike and promoting participation in Toronto's cycling plans and programs. The vision for Bike Sauce is to provide a hub in the East End that includes an affordable repair facility and a social space for members of the community to explore the myriad benefits of cycling.
The TRAILBLAZERS Tandem Cycling Club is holding an Open House on Wednesday March 31, 2010 from 6:00 - 8:30 pm at the CNIB Cafeteria, 1929 Bayview Ave, just north of Eglinton.
Groups can post cycling-specific, non-commercial and "above board" events to this common cycling calendar where every group can post their events. Just sign up!
